help with surging engine

hello and thanks for your time....... town and country van has started surging when you first crank it up...Its not bad, just a slow up and down reving from the engine, and seems to get a little worse when the air is turned on. No indication from the warning lamps or anything about engine problems..Just started doing this about 2 weeks ago.....Appreciate any comments as to what might be causing this .... this vehicle is a 2000 with about 62,000 miles on it..... Thanks again to anyone....Oren

you could try cleaning the throttle plate with carb cleaner for a starting point, there could be several things that could cause the engine to surge and intake deposits just behind the throttle plate is a common problem of surging at idle.
