How is it they offer a 110% money guarantee? Just hope you do not want to return it or THINK you have an increase?

Yes
Most people after spending $70 on an aluminum dryer venting connector that has had it's tabs bent will "feel" the increase
It's human nature to make our choices, then after that believe any evidence supporting our choice, and ignore or dis-believe any evidence that goes against our choice

At $70 for a $2.30 piece of said connector (including custom bending) they can certainly give some money back to some people, they are not working on a 42% markup here, and some 50% in returns will kill them
On the contrary
It's more like a 3000% mark-up, and 80% returns and they are still rolling in the dough
But as I mentioned, most people that dish out that much money for this will "feel" a difference

Most of the ones that don't will leave it in just in case, after all they bought it and don't want to admit they've made a mistake

Very few will ask for their money back

I notice they are marketing the "fuel saving properties" now, instead of the "power gains"
Smart move on their part with gas prices the way they are

I could see it improving power on a few engines because of induction system designs. But the throttle plate destroys the spinning air flow.

I have removed about 10 of them for drivability problems. Some that almost wouldn't run.The manufacturers spend many thousands of dollars designing an intake system to control the air flow from swirling so making it swirl causes problems. It's very bad if installed ahead of a MAF sensor in the intake air duct. You would be better off to buy some lottery tickets at least you might become rich.

Read the disclaimer:

Although increased performance usually translates directly into better gas mileage and/or lower emissions, every driving situation is different. Different people drive differently (no two people will drive the same car the same way); driving conditions are never the same (wet or dry, cold or hot, uphill or downhill, etc.); fuel quality can be different (from vendor to vendor, from season to season, from the very same pump one day to the next). Even identical makes and models of vehicle can vary in their performance (though their engines are the same size and type). Because these many variables (and more!) must be taken into consideration, no competent and reliable scientific evidence is available to substantiate any concrete dollar savings or mileage numbers as a result of using the VortexValve™. Therefore, VortexNW.com (a dba of Josef's Storhaus, Ltd.) does not make any kind of specific representations about what you can personally expect for savings in fuel costs (as a result of increased gas mileage) or reduction in emissions (as a result of better fuel combustion). Bottom Line: Individual results will vary.
