my accord has 143,000 miles i have noticed oil spots in my driveway
what is most likely to go bad and cause an oil leak, bad seals, how can i isolate the problem.

With most cars, high mileage seepage is often front or rear main bearing seals, with the rear (transmsission end) being most common. Other possibilities are camshaft end seals, distributor shaft seals, valve cover gaskets.
You'll need to degrease it the best you can and then try to follow the trail. Also you can start the search based on where the spots are on the driveway, but don't always jump to conclusions; oil seepage frequently travels several inches to as much as a foot or so before finally dripping off and the path is often horizontal, so you can't automatically asssume the leak is directly above where the oil spots are.
