Stripped teeth on 94 Isuzu Timing Belt

What would cause my 2.3 liter Isuzu to strip six teeth clean off the belt, the bely looks to be original, but it worries me since there are no other teeth missing.

thats just the way the go out. thats just a week spot in the belt that goes first, then the crank cant turn the belt to do any more damage, because it usually tears the teeth out on the crank. I bet if you take the belt off and look closely you will see cracks and splits in other teeth.
