Chilton? or Haynes? Repairs Manuals

I would like to do some work on my truck and would like some opinions on the best repair manual for a do-it-yourselfer.

Chilton? or Haynes? or are there any others?

The best?
Factory or AllData
After that I prefer Haynes, more specific and more pictures than Chiltons
Then Chiltons

I always liked MOTORS the best but I haven't seen any for sale in a while. I also have a number of Haynes & Chilton. I often find it benficial to look at more than one book when stumped on a repair.

I agree with all of you, factory repairs manuals are the best option. I have Alldata and the Snap-on version (Mitchell) and refer to both programs for various things. When I worked for a GM car dealership I found the factory manual to be invaluable, they are expensive but worth the money. The motor manuals are still available and I use these as well as others for specifics. I buy them from a company rep that comes around, they are available on disc also. You may want to check with a good bookstore like Barnes and Nobles for their availability.
