Removing Starter 1987 Jeep Cherokee

I have a 1987 Jeep Cherokee, 4cyl., that has become difficult to start. I have had the battery and alternator tested and believe my next option is to remove and have the starter tested. I got under the vehicle tonite and there appears to be two star shaped bolts going up through the bottom of the starter. Are these likely to be the only bolts holding the starter in place?
Thanks
Jay

Sounds like you found the E-12 Torx head bolts
You'll need a special socket for those

torx head starter bolts

those specialty tools are hard to find in a pinch I used a regular 3/8 socket and it worked
the starter pops right off.
