Exclamation Raidator/Trany Cooler Line Warped Thread

undefinedundefinedI have an 87 S10 Blazer 2.8l that I'm trying to replace the raidator on. Everything is disconnected except for the lower transmission cooler line - the threading is completely warped. I used a 13mm tube nut wrench on the upper line, and it came off smoothly. Removing the line from the transmission side isn't an option, so I'm not sure what to do. If I cut into the tubing is there a fitting or something I can use to reconnect it into the raidator? Help!

I'd try a pressure fitting from a plumbing supply house -
you know, the kind with two nut fittings and a ferrule in between?
Cut the line, slip on the fittings at each end and swage 'em
Maybe you'll want to check it with a trannie pro, for piece of mind.
That fluid gets hot.
Check it from from time to time, though.....
