94 Chevy 4x4 truck transmission Quirks

94 chevy, 350, 3.5L. 4x4, automatic transmission

last spring the transmission started to shift down without reason on the freeway. Once the weather warmed up....... it started to work normally. Now that it has cooled down again.... it is back. Are there any sensors that go bad? Any ideas?...... Thanks

Thanks Cherry for the info. My reference to it "warming up" meant that summer came and it started to work normally. Now that it is cooling down again, it is shifting down to the passing gear for no reason and back up to overdrive eradictly. However, the oil change in the tranny can't hurt. I should have been more detailed.....i keep getting booted trying to post threads. Thanks
