Front Axels On '89 Chev 4x4 1/2 Ton

I've Got A Clunking Noise Coming From My Front Drive Train Especially When Turning. I Think That I Need To Replace The Front Axel Assemblies. Can The Axel Be Removed By Removing The Flange Bolts And Sliding Out The Splined Shaft End? I'm Sure It's More Complicated Than That. Can Anybody Give Me A Step-by-step That A Novice Can Follow?

Answering My Own Question.

The Answer To The Question Is Yes It Is That Easy. I Did Have To Cut Out The Fasteners At Both Ends Of The Sway-bars. That Gave Me Enough Room To Remove The Old Axle After I Removed The Keeper Nut, Flange Bolts(needed Considerable Heating) And Pounded On The End Of The Shaft With A Wood Block. The Local Parts Store Had Replacement Kits For The Sway-bar Fasteners And I Was Done In No Time.
