Oxygen Sensor Where Oh Where?

Has anybody here ever replaced an oxygen sensor on an Audi (1984-87) 5 cylinder Quattro? I know it's supposed to be on the manifold, but, where exactly is it? How did you access it to replace it?

I can't give you an exact location, but it will be before the catalytic converter.

When the exhaust is COLD, you can find it by feel if you can't see it.

A 7/8" or 22 mm should do the trick. If there's room a combination wrench will work. Sometimes a socket or special O2 sensor socket designed for the task is needed.
