signal light wiring

Hi there, a little help would be cool if possible!! 1990 Toyota Camry, having touble with turn signals all the time, they don't work. Was trying some different wiring so I have turn signals and day running lights now(which I didn't have before) and now am blowing an inline fuse. Any pointers? Thanks a million!!

Were you having turn signal problems before messing around with the wiring? If so, fix that 1st.
If you add more accessories to an existing circuit, there will be more current draw and you're probably blowing a fuse because of that. Don't just put in a larger fuse so it won't blow. It's good that the fuse did blow to protect the circuit from drawing too much current and heating up the wires causing a fire. The only recommedation I have is to see if daytime running lights were an option on this car and, if so, use the same parts and design to make it as if this option was installed by the factory. Any other way to do it could result in problems including a risk of fire.
