Red face Mazda MX3 Alternator replacement

I have to change the alternator for a Mazda MX3 1994, manual. I managed
to disconnect all the wires, and all the nuts and bolts, so the alternator could
come be taken out. The problem is there is no way the alternator can be
taken out because there is always something in it's way.
My question is how do i take it out, i mean i suppose i have to take
something else out, but what? cause i don't want to disassemble the whole
car for just an alternator.

Thanks in advanced

It's possible it may have to come out from below. There are cars like that. Take a look from underneath to see if that's what it needs.

Cool

From underneath there are still parts in it's way: pipes, catalytic
converter, body parts. I think that if i take out the catalytic converter it will,
come out, but i want to be sure, because that's a hell of a job with basic tools.
