Every once in a while I hear, what I can only describe as the sound of PopRocks ( Remember the fruity rock like things that we use to stick in our mouth or put in our pops or maybe even the sound Rice Krispies after adding the milk) in my steering column or under it. There is no pattern, when I turn or when the air is on. It will just start to sound like Poprocks. This will only occur for a short period then stop. It started about a week ago and I'm not sure where to start to even look. Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you!!

Had a similar issue where there was moisture in one of the vacumn lines to a control valve under the dash, the noise was caused by the water vapor going through the valve.
