1998 Ford Explorer rear end noise

I have a 1998 ford explorer, I recently changed the pinion bearings and pinion seal. Since that time whenever the truck coasts, I hear a type of grinding noise. When I step on the gas there's no sound and if I travel at really low speeds ( 7mph or less) theres no sound, so any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. With me being stationed in europe I just cant take it to garage around the corner.

Did you install a new collapsible spacer between the pinion bearings?
