my 2 cents

I have some friends with that system and they now have electrical problems. The systems were installed by stereo stores.
I would be real scared of hacking into stock factory wires to install such a system because of problems down the road.
That is just my 2 cents but you can do what you want. With todays high tech cars were a mili volt can cause problems with computers.
If it were a 60s car no problem.

The remote starter will connect to the ignition wires therefore bypassing the ignition switch. If your car has a key that has to be programmed or an anti theft system, then you will probably need some type of bypass unit installed with the remote starter.
