astro van brakes

I have replaced the front brakes on my 98 astro awd van many a times. Are there any heavy duty rotars for the front brakes. Any suggestions.

How often are you replacing brakes? What Kind are you using?

I would recommend going with a quality made in the USA rotor such as Bendix or Raybestos Professional Grade. For the AWD they run about $75.00 a piece and for the 2 wheel drive they run about $90.00 a piece.

Also a good set of Bendix or Raybestos PG pads for the front will suit you well. They run about $40.00 a set for the AWD and $33.00 a set for the 2 wheel drive.

For just a little more Bendix makes a great SUV/Van brake pad that will set you back $56.00 a set for AWD and $46.00 a set for 2 wheel drive.

Also make sure your calipers are in good working order and that your brake hoses aren't deteriorated.
