Question Leaky brake cylinder

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all,

Could anyone tell me the steps involved with replacing or repairing a leaky brake cylinder on the rear wheel of a 1994 Chevy Corsica?

Thanks in advance,

It's just a matter of disassymbling the brakes, unbolting the old cylinder and replacing with the new, and putting the brakes back together.

The important part is bleeding the brakes good when you are done.

Soak the brake line nut with penatrating oil and use a line nut not an open end wrench to losen the nut. If the brake fluid soaked into the shoes they also must be replaced. If the springs are rusty than replace also. Be sure to check the other side condition brakes and hardwear are cheep. Do not disassemble both sides at once. The other side will help when reassembling.
