92 geo prizm not starting in cold weather

Got a 92 prizm, 144000 miles, that runs fine except when the weather drops to around 30 or below -- then it won't start. Had alternator, starter, and ignition replaced. Would like to keep this car for another few months but that means I need it to start when it's cold.

Help?

Did you have the battery tested?

I would check the resistance of the battery cables. They can corrode underneath the insulation and restrict current flow. This might not cause a problem when its warmer out, but when it gets cold and your battery losses cranking amps it may not have enough to turn starter properly. I am assuming it is not cranking right?

Thanks! Someone suggested it might be the spark plug cables, too.

If it's fuel injected check the temperature sender.

if your car only hard to start or not start in cold..then you should replce your cold temp sensor ..should be located on engine close to intake ..if that sensor is bad it will make car not start in cold and will die on road if its get worse
