2000 ford taurus questions

My Dad gave me his 2000 ford Taurus SES with 70 thousand miles I just drove it on a 1400 mile trip from California were i picked it up and drove to TX.
A couple of small problems someone that tinted the windows ripped the connectors for the rear window grid off the grid There are two one on each side. They could have unplugged it but they did it the stupid way.I need this grid to work since we get ice here in TX.I need a glue that can transfer electricy to the grids.Any ideas?
Also how can I adjust the drivers door latch? It needs to move a little the door sticks when I open it.

They make rear defroster repair kits that you can get at your local auto parts store. As for the door latch, it is not really adjustable. Spray some graphite lubricant in the latch and it should solve your problem.
