95 ranger dinger bell location and door switch

This thing doesn't stop dinging for at least a few minutes after starting the truck. And I don't mean just a couple of dings. Sometimes it doesn't stop for miles of driving untill I turn the truck off. It's not the air bag warning either. I'm pretty sure that the door switch is bad because the interior lights stay on. I don't see a switch like normal. Is it located behind the bottom hinge? I may try to just replace that, but it's a work truck so I would rather just unhook the dinger than spend money on it. They hide it in maybe the plastics behind the dash. Can't find it!

the door switch is on the latch inside the door, not extremely difficult to replace. the chime(dinger) I believe is in the left side of the dash up behind the fuse box.
