try to figure this one out...

My sister has a 99 Taurus. The "door open" signal stays on all the time and therefore the domelight does also. I went and played with it. Found out if you press in the top of the rear drivers side door it shuts it off. But, it comes back on automatically when you open any door and must be repeated. Thanks to any suggestions. Currently the bulb is out of dome light.

Spray some WD-40 on the latches of all the doors. That's the typical fix.
