pulsating brakes

i have a 2001 olds Alero and i have felt and heard a clicking pulsation from the front brakes when i am releasing the pedal. the first time i heard it i checked the brake fluid and it was down a little so i topped it up the noise and pulse went away for a few days but now it's back and the brake fluid level is fine any ideas?

Brake Pulsing

First, how many miles are on the brake pads? Have there ever been changed before?

The reason the brake fliud was down a little is because the pads have worn down, causing the caliper piston(s) to extend out further. When new pads are replaced the piston(s) will have to be pushed back into the calipers. As a result the fluid will be pushed back through the lines into the resevoir.

You may have to remove some excess fluid before it overflows, when you replace the brake pads.

Antime you feel a pulsing in the brakes it is because the brake rotors are either warped or pitted.

It sounds like you are due for a brake job soon.
