Idle problem

Suzuki , Samurai , 1987 starts good, runs,ok at high speed. Just won`t idle. I have to adjust idle speed at 1900 rpm or it`s like turning off ignition when throttle is released.
Any Ideas ?

no idle

im not an expert but just to give you a general direction
start by checking vacuum lines to the carb and intake manifold, check/replace pcv valve,check/replace air & fuel filter,it may a carburetor issue too, they sell the kit to rebuild it a your local autoparts store.
usually very affordable.

I second that. Vacuum leak or defective carb. Check around the intake manifold for leaks.
