My Brother has the same problem in a 2000 Expedition but he didn't jump anyone. the battery is disconnected and the dealer says MAYBE....it's the GEM Module...They want to replace it for $350 with no gurantee?????

Concur; good possibility you fried something.
FWIW, the following is the jump start procedure for late model F-Series Ford pickups from the towing "Bible". Even though you were the jumper and not the jumpee, the fact there are these restrictions would indicate that strict adherence to procedures are necessary to avoid problems. We never, ever jump from the truck; we always use our portable box which has a constant 12.5 volt (approx) vice the 13.5+ volts that a running vehicle puts out. Here's the procedure:
"When jump starting the vehicle you MUST do the following:
1. Turn on the heater blower on both vehicles to HIGH.
2. If the vehicle has an automatic climate control, set function to defrost position.
3. Ensure that all other accessories are OFF.
4. Follow the general jump starting procedures.
5. Reduce engine speed to idle before disconnecting jumper cables."
I cringe when I see someone in a parking lot with their jumper cables out and connected to a newer vehicle.
