Camry stalling

1994 Toyota Camry
170,000 miles
4 cyl

If I drive my camry for more than 15 minutes, then turn it off, then try to turn it on again, it will stall. When turning it back over, if I give it gas for about a minute and keep the RPM gauge at 2K, it will stay going long enough to pop it in drive and go (at which point it won't stall out once I'm driving it). But if I stop, turn it off, and then try to turn it back on again in Park, it will immediately stall out. It takes a few turns of the ignition and some revving to get it going again.

This seems to happen more now in the cold weather. I live in Jersey so we've had a few really cold days lately. Does anyone know what this could be?

Check pcv and check fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter.

Are you saying that it always stalls unless you rev it for a minute?

Are you saying that it sometimes cranks without starting? i.e. 'a few turns'

Thanks for the response...

1) Some days it doesn't stall out at all which seems to be days when the weather is above 40 degrees or so. However, on colder days, it always stalls after I crank it unless I rev it.

2) It always starts after cranking, but if I'm not constantly giving it gas after turning it over, she'll stall.
