Idling Fast
I was wondering if anyone can help with this. My 90 Jeep Cherokee 6 cylinder in line 4.0 liters, idles at about 1200/1500 rpm's when in park or neutral, is there a way to adjust the idle or do i need a new part. any help would be appreciated.

Vacuum leaks
Did you check for vacuum leaks ? Open the hood and listen for any hissing noise. Also leaks can be found by piching vacuum lines with needle nose pliers when you find the leak, idle returns to normal. Also an un-lit propane torch works well. Is the check engine light on ???
