1977 Chevy

Hi I have a 1977 Chevy C10 pickup with a three speed transmission and the shifter is on the column the pin that holds the shifter in place slips out as I change gears which makes it hard to change the gears I really like the shifter on the column so is there a way to replace this pin if so how and what is the part called.

Thank you
Dwayne

Go to any Home Depot or Lowe's and ask the guy in the hardware department wheree the roll pins are. May have to get a couple of different sizes and trial & error the fix.

I have this happen to me in the past. I fixed it buy bering the end with hammer and vice and then tapping pin back in. That was the last time it came out. PS Hope this helps.
