89 dodge pickup w/318

I have an 89 doge pickup w/ a 318 in it. It refuses to start most days. It does turn over just wont catch. Have put in new plugs, wires, Distibutor. Some days it fires up but will then just stop. Any advice would be appreciated.

WHEN was last time you changed all filters. Like gas air and pvc valve.

How does it runs after all, does it blows lots of black smoke? or no smoke at tail pipe?, running rough/smooth? any noise(backfires)? ect.....

Can you check to see if it has any spark when it's started, my best guess would be a bad coil but we do need little more info.
