If you do not have anti-lock brakes it is some what easy. But if you have anti-brakes you mite be better to take to brake shop.Your life could be in your hands if you do not know what you are doing. Buy a repair manual. Its a must .

-Remove the tubes from the primary and secondary ports of the master cylinder.
-Disconnect manifold vacuum hose from the check valve on the booster.
-Remove the master cylinder nuts and the master cylinder.
-Disconnect electrical connector for the brake light switch under the dash.
-Remove the brake light switch retaining ring and white nylon washer, then slide the switch off the brake pedal pin until the outer plate of the switch clears the pins, then remove the switch from the pins.
-Remove transmission shift cable and bracket.
-Move the booster forward until it clears the dash panel, then remove the booster completely.
-When installing make sure you bleed the entire system. If it has ABS you need a ABS test adapter to properly cycle the ABS pump.
