Remote control locks

Have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata. The remote control for the locks ,trunk and alarm has slowly started to not work.
Can I replace the battery in this remote myself or is this something that has to be done at the dealership.
I don't know if something has to be reset once the new battery is installed.
Please advise as I can't lock the doors if I take the car somewhere.

Yes, you can replace the battery. When you open the remote, note the position of the battery and position the new battery in the same way.

No, you should not have to reprogram anything.
