Question 1998 Astro No Heat

I have a 1998 Chevy Astro Van. It stop giving good heat inside back in December and gradually
got worse. I noticed that the temperature gauge indicated that the engine was not reaching proper operating temperature. So recently I had the thermostat changed. Now the temperature gauge indicates that the engine is reaching proper operating temperature, but the heat inside is
still barely lukewarm. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
