93 escort fuel filter

i've looked all over for the filter on this car,can someone help? it has a 1.9L,SEFI motor and it's an
LX model. any help will be appreciated

In the fuel line. Trace it from the engine to the tank.

mine's behind the engine. follow the fuel rail.

If it's like my 91 Tracer, it'll be below the brake master cylinder against the firewall. I think you have to remove the air intake parts to get at it.

It is on the firewall
It's a med. sized metal canister
I don't recall needing to move anything specific to get to it, but I suppose there might be a hose or two
Nothing major
It may be a bit low on the f/w....I seem to remember having to dig down a bit

Don't forget to relieve the fuel pressure by kicking off the inertia switch and attempting to start the car a few times
