How do you know it stops running. Some times engine runs to slow for compressor to keep ac cool at idle.I have seen this before with 4 cyl. cars in the past. Not much you can do about it. Car speed would have to be set faster at idle and most new cars can't be do to ECM. (This is juist my opinion.)

suggest taking to a shop to have the a/c system checked while normally it will cool a little better going down the road It should still have decent performance even at idle a cooling fan not working could cause poor performance at idle and may even cause the a/c compressor to kick off due to excessive high pressure not to mention be hard on the a/c components, or it could be as simple as a little low on freon it will only get more noticable as the temp get warmer outside during the summer.

I can see the compressor stop turning after a while when car is idiling.

I think I will take to shop, it started last fall, before that no problem when car was idiling. Did not do anything to it because it was getting cold, now it's that time of year again Thanks
