"drive Cycle"

2001 Aztek--I recently corrected a fuel vapor emmission system fault. Now I can't get a readout on my OBDII scanner. The power pin on the plug-in is dead.. I have read that after correcting a fault you must complete a "drive cycle" before the diagnostics will work again. It's been over a month. Is there a specific "drive cycle" for the Aztek?

suspect you probably have a blown fuse that would keep power from going to the diagnostic connector.
think you are confusing drive cycle with the diagnostics while driving the vehicle after completing the repair several times will help you to determine if the problem is fixed it doesnt affect diagnostics your obd 2 scanner should work anytime plus if something else went wrong it would be able to tell you by the check engine light coming on.
