Angry 92 toyota corrola tranny

I changed transmission fluid on my toyota 92 corrola but by mistake i put dextron III oil in it rather than dextron II can anybody tell me that should i change it or is it ok what is difference in dex III and dex II thankyou very much

From what i understand dex3 replaced dex2, 3 has the same ingredients as 2 with better additives for heat and wear, probably hard to even find dex2

Dexron II was replaced by III, each step up is better....., try and find some dexron III with the "H" spec, its even better.... but was actually replaced soon after by dexron IV. No need to worry...

I agree with v8driver, no need to worry.

Dexron III was originally created when they went to electronic transmissions. The molecular structure in Dex II was too large to pass through the smaller orifices in the electronic transmission so they reformulated it. It will retro fit back to the early days.
