Subaru Gasoline Odor In Morning

2001 Subaru Outback Wagon, 4 Cylinder. 76,000 miles

Lately when I start the car early in the morning and driving for about 5 minutes and turn on the heater blower I get a very strong odor of gasoiline fumes from the vents. It lasts about 10 - 15 seconds and then doesn't occur any more until the next morning.

I looked closely under the hood and found no sign of a leak. Thanks for your help.

have proper ventilation on car , check undercarriage for leaks, check exhaust system for leaks, go from there.
