Oil pressure reading problem

I have a 2000 Lesabre with DIC readout. Oil pressure says "normal" but just started reading 129psi and does not vary with acceleration/deceleration of vehicle. Oil level is fine. Is this a sender unit problem?

Yes, we have seen a number of these in the shop with the exact readout. You need to replace the oil pressure sender.

where's the oil pressure sending unit?

thanks for the tip. Is the oil pressure sending unit on the oil pan? There is a sensor on the front of the oil pan but I don't know if that is the oil level or oil pressure sensor.
