Unhappy 93 Toyota Corolla wont stay running.

I was driving my car and it just died, like it ran out of gas.Would restart and run,but when you would put it in reverse and just sit it will start acting like its running out of gas an quit.
I replaced spark plugs, distrubiter cap, rotor bug, wires, fuel filter and fuel pump and screen.Nothing worked still doing the same thing, any ideas?

It will when it's cool but after it warms up it starts acting like it is starving for gas.

It's not my area, but if it stalls in D or R, but not in P or N, I'd look at the torque converter (tranny)

If it stalls under load (load on engine), then look at the
Fuel filter
Distributer (cap/rotor)
Plugs
Plug wires
Vac leak
Emissions system

Looks like you hit most of those

In my experience the older Toyotas can be very sensitive to ignition components, plug/wire/cap/rotor
They tend to prefer Toyota parts

Did you use the NGK plugs and gap them?

I'd have the codes pulled, even if the lights not on
I don't know if this vintage Corolla has tranny codes
