horn won't blow

I have a chrome electric thrumpet horn about two foot long ( big truck ? )that doesn't work, when connected it only makes a very small metalic type sound out the end.

What can i do to repair this.

Look for a small adjustment screw somewhere on the body at the end with the electrical connector. Turn the screw slightly one way or the other to see if it will sound better.

horn man here

Just kidding but I have a set of horns from a old car and if you wire them straight to battery they should work (test).if not you can turn the screw and see if that helps. However if that does not do it your diaphram is wasted and depending on the horn may or may not be replaceable.
Mine was since back in the 30s they made stuff you can still take apart and fix.

I don't see any screw adjustments on this horn.

There is a very small allen head screw in the back but i can't even find a allen wrench to fit that.

The whole base is bolted together where i'm assuming is where the diaphram is.
I'll have to take it apart then and see what i find.

I took the rear portion off the thrumpet and it is sealed.
