95 blazer heat control

Unhappy 95 blazer heat control

Hello i have a 95 s 10 blazer 4x4 4 dr with air the heat control is stuck no matter where i set it still blows hot air . Have changed the heat switch in dash still no help when i set it to air or vent just blows hot anyone have a idea what to look at next ?

Seems i have found out the problem it was a motor in the dash by heater core which has a electrontic board as well , also worm gear in it controls the damper door part was $ 69.00 dollars cost to install was $ 600. the dash has to be taken out completely big job hope none you other people have to do this .

It's actually not as bad as the labor in the book calls for...my guys can do it in about 2 1/2 hours. You might call and shop that repair around to see if someone can do that repair cheaper.

Well I'm from British Columbia seems the rate is about same no matter where one goes. Everyone says the heater core is to be pulled with it there for 5 hr job give or take with a hr rate of 79.00 per hr in most all shops the odd one at 68.00 hr
