Brakes Are Smoking

1994 Ford Ranger Has Sat For A Week Without Being Cranked. Before When It Was Being Driven It Had A Small
Pull To The Right , Now I Just Drove It And It Was Really Pulling To The Right And Shuttering. When I Parked After My 7 Mile Round Trip There Was A Burning Smell Of Rubber And There Was Smoke Coming Out Othe Right Front Tire. Can I Still Drive It To The Garage ? What Is The Problem? Thanks. We had the same problem with a 1992 Barretta. The caliper locked up. It could also be a weak brake line. The brake line is letting fluid through, but not letting it return. If the garage isn't too far, it would probably be ok to drive it.

Of course I'm slightly biased, but why risk doing more damage or getting stranded on the side of the road just to save the cost of a tow?

I agree with tow guy just have it towed to the garage don't take any risks it's not worth it.
