95 Windstar squeaky Catalitic Converter

After car has warmed up, the catalitic converter tends to make squeaking noises. These noises tend to change in frequency when accelerating; the noise also comes and goes. Is there any way to fix this without replacing converter?

If the catalytic converter is making ANY type of sound then it is likely damaged inside and no longer capable of completing its task effeciently. It needs to be replaced.
Hope this is helpful to ya,
Billy
