installing a new car stereo...

Hello again. I am not sure that this is the right section, but here it is.
I need to install a new car stereo in a car, I am very experienced with electronics, computers, and home audio, but I am not sure on car audio. I read a tutorial online that was helpful, but I don't have a 12 volt tester, so that might prove difficult. can anyone give me some basic tips besides reading the manual? By the way, I haven't purchased the stereo yet, but soon will, it will be for a work truck.

Install at Store

Just buy it at any big chain store and they'll install it for you, usually cheap or free, no hassle they sell you the right harness for your truck as well as all other parts needed, they usually run specials like free install on stereos $ 99 and up, just shop around check them out on the web.
