02 impala squealing and noisy brakes after change

I have recently changed the brakes on my car by myself. it was a reltivly easy process I have done many times before on pre 2000 chev models. Hoever my newer car an 02 impala I notice that my fronts squeal sometimes. And about a month later I found that my back dics were rady to change. Though I do not get a sqeal out of them it seems that after about 10-15 min of constant driving at any speed one of the rear tires start to produce a howling noise is there something I missed to cause these symptoms???

I am suspicious you used aftermarket brake pads. Brake squeal is an undesirable side effect of this.

You may want to feel the metal of the wheel after driving to see if one of the rears is getting hot due to bad wheel bearing (s).
