93 escort wagon high speed miss
My 93 escort wagon misses really bad when running at 55 to 65 MPH. Doesn't do it when cold. Misses when you just lightly increase the throttle or go up an incline. If you push down hard on the throttle it stop missing and accelerates fine. Runs fine at slower speeds but has recently started to miss at higher speeds. I've replace plugs, ignition wires and had the injection system cleaned. It starts fine and get good gas mileage.
The problem started out barely noticable and has steadily gotten worst. It seems like any time it's worked on it will be fine for 20 or so miles and then resume. That makes it hard for the mechanic to tell it he has fixed it.
Thx in advance

Step one:
Pull the codes
You can DIY it with a voltmeter:

The EEC-IV (your Escort's computer) can store many trouble codes w/o throwing the Check Engine Light
