spark plugs

I have '91 cheyenne 350. My dad orginal owner, keeps telling the truck came lifetime spark plugs, truck has 107,000 miles. Did or does Chervolet put this type of spark plugs in their engines? Any input would be appreciated.

No..... all plugs... even the mighty platinums (long life plugs, not lifetime) need to be changed.

Dude plugs are plugs , just go to autoparts store get recommended type for your engine, they'll give you 4 or 5 choices of brands and prices like AC, Champion, or Bosch, they're all good. Of course longer lasting are more expensive.

I doubt it. Plugs should be a part of routine maintenance - especially on a 1991 anything. Some newer cars with platinum plugs have a 100,000 mile change interval, but that's with modern engine management. I've never heard of a 'lifetime' spark plug. Companies may market them as 'lifetime', but the do wear out and/or become contaminated over time.
