95 chevy 2500 blower resistor?

I need help??? My 95 chevy truck blower fan only works on high speed. After reviewing the electrical schematics and talking to some folks, I believe it to be the blower resistor that is bad.

The problem is I can't locate the blower resistor. Can someone point me to where it is located and how to access it (engine side, passengers side)?

I'm hoping I don't need to take the whole dash apart. I took out the radio & blower control unit, but no luck. Appears this item might be on the engine side of the firewall, but I am unsure how to access.

They are usually near the fan. Sometimes you have to take the fan out and they be in there some where.

But it should be on the passenger side in the firewall area near the fan.
