tale of bad luck this weekend with reman

So I replaced the a/c compressor on a 95 roadmaster with a $200 reman. The first compressor didn't build pressure so I brought it back as defective. Got another compressor. Put that one on, got nice cold A/C. 20min later the bearing in the clutch assembly was screaming when the clutch wasn't engaged. So off with that one back to advanced. now am on 3rd compressor, knock on wood pray to god this one is still working 3 days later anyone else have issues with remans like this.

I am thinking I should have just got the thing from a junk yard. Probably would have had better quality

Yep...same thing here just last week. Third one was the charm for me. I think I'll stick to NAPA from now on...it's just that Advance was the only one who had one in stock at the time. I used their compressors before though with no problems. Maybe they changed suppliers?
