1995 4.7 Thunderbird LX Oil Pressure Switch

The oil pressure gauge reads low most of the time, and sometimes the Check Gauges light comes on. I'm pretty sure it's the Oil Pressure Switch (sending unit). The engine runs great.
I'm having problems locating it, I have checked all around the oil filter housing where they are normally located, Am I missing something?

I can tell you it's threaded into the oil passage and has a single wire lead coming from it. It should be right where the oil filter screws onto it's bracket. Could it be that the wire has been pulled off of yours and it's harder to find?
