1992 Olds Driver Information Center

I have a 92 Old 88 Royale LS. Several weeks ago the Customer Information Display started to go haywire. The LED display turned into multiple flashing squares and the system emits a warning sound. If I disconnect the battery the system returns to a start mode asking for date and time. The controls on the info center will not let me enter information and after a short time will returns to the flashing/warning mode. I've taker the dash apart to see if I can find the source of the noise and at least disconnect the buzzer. Everything is made of circuit boards so no buzzer. What's my next option?

with out schematics to very a constant supply of power to each power line and then measuring the resistance of each ground. There isn't much you can do.

That's the problem with those types of displays...about the only thing you can do at this point is call a salvage yard and get a used one to replace it with. Getting one from a dealer would be waaay to costly.
